The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort, Vail Debuts New Immersive Summer Program

Nestled in the heart of the majestic Rocky Mountains, The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort, Vail has announced a collection of new summer programming that showcases the best of one of Colorado’s beloved mountain towns. The alpine haven harnesses the individual and collective passions of Vail’s founders, Pete Seibert and Earl Eaton, allowing guests to discover shared passions and spark deeper connections to the destination.

While winter is Vail’s most iconic season, summer getaways are a must-experience with sunny days, fewer crowds and a different set of outdoor adventures to explore among the breathtaking scenery. From immersive and educational activations and lively on-property events to refined Colorado-inspired fare and libations, travelers can look forward to the below when visiting The Hythe:

Summer Experiences

  • Colorado Wildflower Hiking Adventure: Timed to the peak of wildflower season in July and August, families and small groups can partake in a beginner-friendly, guided hike to view Colorado’s epic wildflower bloom with the Colorado Wildflower Hiking Adventure. Made available through The Hythe’s unique partnership with Adventure IO, guests can learn more about Colorado wildlife, flowers, trees and native plants and enjoy the picturesque scenery of wildflower meadows at an elevation of over 8000 feet. Reservations are based on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Market to Table: A Farmers’ Market Chef-Led Excursion and Cooking Demo: A new bookable experience, visitors can join one of The Hythe’s talented and knowledgeable chefs for an epicurean tour of the Vail Farmers’ Market to taste and gather local ingredients to bring back to the property. Afterward, guests are in for a treat with an interactive cooking demonstration and outdoor brunch on the resort’s inviting Après Deck. The Market to Table experience is available on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning June 25 until September 3. Pricing starts at $120 per person and can be booked through the concierge.

The energizing and complimentary yoga class will be led by instructors from Revolution Power Yoga, a Vail Daily-voted Best Yoga Studio. Culinary and Beverage Lineups

Serving as a hub for gathering and celebration, Revel Lounge – one of the resort’s four onsite dining venues – offers a welcoming atmosphere bound to have guests wanting to linger longer. The restaurant will offer special prix-fixe menus throughout the month of June, as well as new menu items such as elk tenderloin, homemade gnocchi, mushroom carpaccio and sweet corn chowder. Revel Lounge will incorporate ingredients from the Vail Farmers’ Market throughout its menu items and serve an all-Colorado sourced provisions board with meats and cheeses exclusively from the state.

Additionally, the restaurant has introduced a lineup of creative beverages, including crushed ice cocktails that let guests sip on classics such as a Negroni, Old Fashioned, Paper Plane and more over shaved ice, plus a selection of new mocktails. Visitors can also enjoy clarified cocktails – spirits crafted with the addition of whole milk that results in a smooth, crystal-clear drink – at Revel Lounge or The Hythe’s grab-and-go concept, Mountain Ration.

Those seeking to experience Revel Lounge’s famed and signature libations can enjoy the Gothic Line Cocktail, a winner of The Taste of Vail People’s Choice Awards, or The Hythe Spritz, a house spritz featuring gin, St. Germaine, crème de violet and a tableside smoked rosemary.
