The Lanesborough Launches Diamond Jubilee Afternoon Tea
From May 28th through June 24th, the special offering will be available in Apsleys. Award winning Head Pastry Chef Tal Hausen has worked with her team of pâtissiers to create an unforgettable afternoon tea inspired by the British Isles.

Guests to this limited time offering enjoy a selection of finger sandwiches including Lochmuir smoked salmon and crayfish pinwheels, coronation chicken with fresh mango chutney and Dedham Vale roast beef with celeriac and English mustard. Savory delights also include Stilton and red onion tarts and Blythburgh ‘hot roasts’ apple and sage turnovers. Egg custard and cinnamon tarts, blackberry and apple cider cake, apricot and Yorkshire curd cheesecake, Scottish butter shortbread with raspberries and rhubarb bakewell tarts comprise a selection of the featured cakes and pastries. In addition, freshly baked scones with Cornish clotted cream and homemade preserves are also served. The afternoon tea is accompanied with West Sussex produced sparkling wine, Nyetimber.

London's first Tea Sommelier, Karl Kessab shares his expertise and guides guests through the extensive tea selection which features over 50 varieties including a specially created Diamond Jubilee afternoon tea blend which will be available exclusively for guests of The Lanesborough.

With the addition of the Diamond Jubilee Afternoon Tea to its award winning offering, The Lanesborough continues its quest to offer guests only the most bespoke of experiences. The Diamond Jubilee Afternoon Tea is served 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM daily and is priced at £48 per person.
