The Milestone Shakes Up London Cocktail Week
From October 5 through 11, 2016, The Milestone's head bartender, Plinio Veloso, will share some of his best-kept secrets on how to make the best martinis, cosmos and, really, any cocktail attendees have been dying to learn, at the hotel's Stables Bar. Among the cocktails that can be mastered is the signature Breakfast at The Milestone, made with Chase Marmalade Vodka, Drambuie, apple juice, lemon juice, and topped with Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne. Guests can also try their hand at preparing The Milestone's signature take on the Old Fashioned, which is served in a glass dome that is filled with smoke infused with apple molasses and orange peel.

London Cocktail Week is a seven-day festival celebrating the best of the city's vibrant cocktail scene. Taking place in October each year, the festival hosts events and exclusive offers in more than 200 bars across London, and hosts an entire cocktail village in Old Spitalfields Market.

The Milestone's Cocktails Master Class, served with canapés such as maple-cured bacon scones and mushroom tartlets, is priced at at £55 (approx. US$72) per person; the cocktail class paired with a two-course meal is priced at £85 (approx. US$112) per person; the Champagne Cocktail Master Class, paired with caviar and blinis, is priced at £150 (approx. US$197) per person.

Pre-booking for each class is required and can be made by emailing bookms@rchmail.com. There is a maximum of six attendees per class; however, larger groups or parties may be accommodated in other spaces in the hotel, subject to availability.
