Volga, Mexico City’s Brand New Luxury Hotel Launches, Forever Redefining The CDMX Hospitality & Nightlife Landscape

To the acclaim of guests and critics alike, Volga, which opened its doors earlier this summer, continues to delight the senses of guests and onlookers at every opportunity. From the moment a guest enters Volga and beholds the vast architectural vision they are now a part of, all the way down to the subtle intention of the garnish on each dish, Volga is more than a new luxe, boutique hotel concept, -- it's a brand new way to experience one of the greatest cities in the world.

From its central location in Cuauhtemoc, just steps away from Roma, Condesa, Reforma, to its seamless integration into the neighborhood in which it resides, Volga is both the perfect escape from Mexico City, as well as the ultimate lens through which to view it. From the bespoke and luxurious architecture and rooms, to the rare rooftop pool deck and its view out to all four directions of the city, Volga, as well as the epicurean offerings of Chef Juan Manuel González are both fresh and comforting.

With a brand new luxury boutique hotel offering, and with the forthcoming nightlife programming and Omakase restaurant offering coming online later this fall, Volga has and will continue to impress artists, foodies, design enthusiasts and guests from Mexico city and beyond. As Volga continues to add new programming and experiences throughout the summer, in the run-up to massive Formula 1 activations later in the fall, there will be no better base from which to experience the best of Mexico City this season.

Volga itself is a special coming together of many of the best players in the Latin American hospitality market. With the food program under the care of the Edo Kobayashi brand, Javier Sanchez (JSa Arquitectura) on the breathtaking design, and with operations managed as a Hamak Hotel Collection property, all under the watchful eye of Volga GM Stefano Antoniattzii, -- Volga only works with the best of the best in each and every discipline, and nowhere was this on better display than during Launch Week earlier this summer, as seen in this new film:

Volga enlisted the aid of House of Kirschner and The Confluence to activate the entire hotel for a week of high-impact events. With amazing mixology from sponsors Pernod Ricard, Amores Mezcal, Tequila Cósmico, Dasa Lumbre and Nestle Waters, and with the cuisine coming directly from Elora -- Volgas upscale Mediterranean restaurant offering. Beyond the food and beverage experiences for guests, Volga also hosted a world class exhibition presented by House of Kirschner and Acoocooro entitled “HADA By HOK, The Book of Wa”. Additionally and in collaboration with the HOK activations for launch week, we also had an exhibition of artworks from Olivia Steele, Paolo Montiel and Russell Ward.

Tier 2.5 Concept Store

In an extension of Volgas unique perspective on the best craftsmanship designers from Mexico and beyond, -- and under direction of Sally Galante, the Tier 2.5 concept store is now officially opened on one of the breathtaking mezzanines of Volga. Nestled beneath Volgas inhouse mezcaleria, and the experimental art space, Tier 2.5 is an elegant curation of hats, scents, handbags, dresses, sunglasses and accessories from brands like, Ficha, Reina Olga, Ram Ram, Eera among many others.
