Based on years of experience attending film, music and arts festivals, as both patron, staff members, producers and event planners, entertainment industry notables Marti Hines and Lola Wood have partnered together to create a new one-of-a-kind experience. “The goal for WanderLuxxe is to offer filmmakers and actors alike along with those seeking luxury access to film festivals, everything they need within one service. Hines and Wood have each spent years on the ground at festivals such as Sundance and Cannes, unofficially helping their clients and industry friends book travel, gain access to film screenings and events. Through this insider knowledge, they decided to create WanderLuxxe, the much-needed, brilliant new entity. Hines and Wood can now offer this service on a broader level, and in an organized, official fashion, since there was clearly such an ever present need. The WanderLuxxe offerings became available at the end of October to their immediate network, and as a result they have already booked in and sold several house packages for Sundance, with the requests flowing in.
In addition to WanderLuxxe offering a top notch team to arrange everything in advance of the festival, many packages include dedicated concierges in each home so that throughout the entire festival the patrons are fully taken care of, with no headaches.
“As you can imagine, and from experience, there are always unforeseen elements that arise last minute.... delays due to travel, weather conditions, shifts with events, screening time changes, ski conditions...reasons beyond anyone's control, so with this in mind, we have allocated top tier concierges to each group booking. The concierges are not only personable, but all have event and marketing backgrounds, to personally attend to VIPs for the duration of the festival experience.” adds Hines.
WanderLuxxe is kicking off their new service with the upcoming 2017 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. They are offering two excursion packages, Jan 19-23 and Jan 24-29, but if clients wish to use their services for the entire time, they can also coordinate packages for Jan 19 – Jan 29.
The packages are all inclusive, with the majority offering round-trip airport transportation, on-the- ground car service in Park City, a luxury home accommodation that patrons choose from in advance, welcome cocktails, daily breakfast, film screening tickets, gifting lounge access and welcome gift packages, private dinners with filmmakers, entrée to official VIP Sundance parties, full day ski packages, and the afore mentioned on-site concierge services.
The concierges can also take care of any last minute needs that the patrons may have, such as hair and makeup services, massage bookings, dry cleaning coordination, business errands, etc.
