Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas Elevates Approach to Organic Dining
A truly sustainable culinary experience can be found at Six Senses Laamu, located deep in the Maldives. While all Six Senses properties have organic gardens that supply the restaurants with fresh, local ingredients, Six Senses Laamu redefines the concept of “farm-to-table” and instead, brings the “table to the farm” at LEAF, a restaurant incorporated into the farm. The restaurant features an imaginative menu that sources all ingredients from the organic garden, Maldivian fishermen and farmers.

Additionally, Six Senses Yao Noi, located in Thailand's Phang Nha Bay between Phuket and Krabi, will welcome Michelin-starred celebrity Chef Anthony Demetre for three exclusive events October 20-23 that will follow the Six Senses brand's dedication to offering fresh, local and chemical free food straight from the organic gardens and local markets.

Below are descriptions of each event:

• October 20th - The first event, a communal dinner, will begin with guests accompanying Chef Anthony as he shops for the freshest ingredients at a local fish farm and marketplace, travelling by long tail boat and tuk-tuk. At the exclusive Hilltop Reserve with panoramic views over Phang Nga Bay, Chef Anthony will host a three-course dinner paired with different wines with each course.

• October 21st - The second event at the Chef's Table will feature a five-course menu focused on specific food intolerances and allergies experienced in modern society, where chemically enhanced food production methods could be responsible for food issues of which many people are affected.

• October 22nd – The last event, a degustation dinner, will invite guests to have a glass of champagne with Chef Anthony at Six Senses Yao Noi's cooking school above the Dining Room and enjoy a four-course degustation dinner created by the Six Senses kitchen team.
