From learning the art of champagne sabering to lessons on cooking authentic French or Mediterranean cuisine, The St. Regis Bal Harbour has ​a variety of ​experiences for groups to enjoy with the resort’s food and wine experts.

Macaron Class: Join Pastry Chef Guillermo Perez and learn the art of making traditional French macrons while sipping rosé. After the class, all participants will enjoy a delightful bird cage high tea at La Gourmandise and will have the opportunity to try their delightfully sweet creations. All participants will enjoy a welcome reception and are provided with ingredients, Chefs apron and tools needed to perform the class.

French Cooking Class: Learn how to cook traditional French cuisine with Executive Chef Franck Steigerwald and create an amuse bouche and appetizer to enjoy as a group. After all of the hard work in the kitchen, guests will be able to enjoy a private dinner and dessert created by Chef. This includes a welcome reception, a hard copy of all the recipes and Chefs apron to take home as a souvenir.

Mediterranean Cooking Class: Take a culinary trip to Greece and learn how to cook authentic Greek cuisine from Atlantikos restaurant’s Chef de Cuisine Tasos Chasekioglou. Participants will learn how to cook a three course meal as well as have the opportunity to create a custom blend tea that can be taken home as a souvenir. All guests will enjoy a welcome reception and are provided with ingredients, tools and an apron.

Educational Wine Tasting
: Led by Sommelier Marco Esposito, participants will enjoy a private educational wine tasting that will take place in the exclusive St. Regis Bal Harbour wine vault. Guests will enjoy a charcuterie plate during the tasting and will be able to take home information about each wine that was discussed.

Sabering Class Ritual: Participants will have the pleasure of witnessing and learning the art of champagne sabering from Sommelier Marco Esposito. Guests will also be able to sip on champagne while enjoying bonbons and will be provided with additional information about this historical ritual that has been practiced at all St. Regis locations for decades.

Catch & Cook Experience: In celebration of The St. Regis Bal Harbour’s fifth anniversary, this over-the-top Catch & Cook Experience will include a five-hour-long fishing excursion with Executive Chef Franck Steigerwald followed by a cooking demo and five-course dinner with wine pairings. This includes roundtrip transportation from St. Regis Bal Harbour to the marina, boat rental and lunch and beverages on board.
