Batty Langley's is a rare departure from London's hotel scene, a home away from home – a respite for international high-flyers - in the shadows of the City's high-tech, high-rises.
Under private ownership, and with a decade of meticulous conservation by craftsmen and artisans, Batty Langley's has breathed new life into a corner of Spitalfields. Each room, like every guest, has a name and its own personality. Bedrooms are furnished with antiques and the soft furnishings use techniques passed down by the area's former Huguenot residents. The rooms are versatile, from one single room with a railway-carriage style bathroom to a suite which includes a Venus de Milo statue and a marble bath.
