Delivered: Boeing's 1,500th Jumbo Jet Goes to Lufthansa

Lufthansa's 14th Boeing 747-8 landed in Frankfurt on June 29, at 9:17 a.m. as scheduled. As well as being the 76th jumbo that Lufthansa has received from the American manufacturer Boeing in Seattle since the 1970s, the aircraft also represents a veritable milestone in aviation history.
