1. Go Skiing in the Matterhorn

The Matterhorn is arguably the most indomitable place when it comes to skiing. Ski lovers and adrenaline junkies from all around the globe come to ski down the treacherous slopes. But before taking on the slopes, make sure you get your snow gear from a leading snowboard company.

Aside from hiking the Matterhorn, you can also visit the Rothorn and Gornergrat mountains for some more skiing adventures. For instance, you can stay in Zermatt, a beautiful village that houses perfect accommodation. There are plenty of other hiking spots, ridges, and restaurants to visit.

2. Go for a Hike in the Bernese Oberland

The Bernese Oberland is popular for its legendary Alpine areas. Situated to the south of Lucerne and Bern, the Bernese Oberland is home to challenging terrains, hikes, and beautiful sceneries.

Two things you must do are visit the Jungfraujoch - Europe’s highest station - and take the local cogwheel service to Schynige Platte, a beautiful mountain top ridge.

Once you are done with your adventures, take some time to visit the fine restaurants at Old Town Square.

3. Canyon through the Alps

Canyoning is an amazing way to get your adrenaline pumping. And if you want to take ice-cold streams, then there is no better option than the Alps. The Alps has canyoning spots for both beginners and pros. Even with little to no experience, you can enjoy this sport.

All you have to do is visit Ticino or Interlaken to find the best spots.

4. Enjoy a Cliff Walk Across Titlis Suspension Bridge

For those who love to take an adventure, cliff walking can be an amazing experience. Imagine walking 500 meters above the ground can only be done in Titlis Cliff. After walking a daunting 150 steps and reaching 500 meters above the ground, you will be greeted with a suspension bridge, which is undoubtedly the highest in Europe.

The suspension bridge is just about 1 meter wide and 100 meters long. To really soak in the view, rest your shoulders and lean over the barrier. Titlis is also home to some amazing skiing spots. If you are planning to visit multiple ski spots, then you need to plan ahead for your ski vacation.

5. Extreme Skydiving in Eiger Mountains

You can book a skydiving event that will take you up to the skies in a helicopter and allow you to skydive in front of the towering Eiger Mountains. Again, you can go to Interlaken and get a shuttle to reach the spot. There, you will be instructed and guided by professional skydivers who will be there to assist you throughout the journey.

As for the event, first, you will have a 10 to 15 minutes helicopter ride to enjoy the views. This is followed by jumping out of the helicopter and diving straight to enjoy a full 45 seconds of free fall and then another 5 minutes of paragliding.

6. Thrill Walk at Schilthorn

Since there are so many mountains in Switzerland, it's obvious that a lot of the tourist attractions are going to require you to overcome your fear of heights.

The Birg Thrillwalk is located on the Schilthorn mountain of Jungfrau Region, Switzerland. The Thrill Walk, as the name suggests, is quite thrilling. You will have to cover a total distance of 200 meters which includes walking across a glass floor, crossing the vertical face of the mountain as you would on a tightrope, and climbing a metal tunnel.

The way to reaching your Thrill Walk destination at Berg can be a bit annoying so bear with us.

First, you need to arrive at Lauterbrunnen. Next, head to Grutschalp from Lauterbrunnen using a cable car that basically takes about 5 minutes. From Grutschalp, you have to go to Murren via mountain railway, which takes 15 minutes, and lastly, take the cable cars from Murren to Birg which takes another 15 minutes. And you will be at your destination!
