London's 45 Park Lane Reveals New 2017 Art Program

A series of exclusive exhibitions and gallery residences will be held at 45 Park Lane providing a platform for emerging artists, including exciting new talent such as neon artist Lhouette, sculptor Anna Masters, and No-Wave scene[i] influenced artist Bonnie & Clyde. The hotel further enhances its guest experience by arranging interactions with the artists, and inviting artists to collaborate with its craftsmen to shape the hotel environment during exhibitions.

Interactions take the form of Private Views and Art talks such as Patrick Hughes art talk with London Art Fair at 45 Park Lane January 20, 2017, and collaborations to look forward to include Lhouette's design for a cocktail with head bartender Maurizio Palermo, titled Lhouette's Angel available at BAR 45 in February and March 2017.

45 Park Lane opened in September 2011 with a spectacular showcase of art by ten of Britain's leading contemporary artists adorning its guest rooms, hallways and restaurant. Over the past five years the hotel has gained a reputation for holding a series of exclusive exhibitions and gallery residences, providing a platform for emerging artists alongside its collection of established artworks. Previous exhibitions have included Robert Indiana, Alan Silfen, Julian Marinetti, and Chris Bracey, whilst artwork by highly recognised names such as Sir Peter Blake, Patrick Hughes, Christian Furr and Bruce McLean hang as part of the permanent collection. Part of its success has been the attraction for potential patrons to view artworks in a living space more similar to the private home environment than a gallery space. For exhibiting artists it is exposure to the world's most affluent and discerning travellers in a new environment and potentially a collector for life.
