  • Her Secret is Patience – Janet Echelman

Located in Phoenix, Arizona, Echelman’s astonishing work sits 38ft above the ground and is over 100ft tall. Consisting of twine netting and coloured lights, the sculpture shows the movement of the wind and changes colour with the seasons.

This fabulous piece reflects Arizona’s unique cloud formations and dances in the air above Civic Space Park.

  • Bleigiessen – Thomas Heatherwick

From the imagination of UK artist Thomas Heatherwick, we have his sculpture ‘Bleigiessen’ crafted for Welcome Trust and located close to Euston Station in London.

This magnificent masterpiece is made up of 142,000 glass spheres and suspended in the atrium of the Trust’s HQ by more than 20,000 steel wires courtesy of Ormiston Wire.

Located in Mifuneyama Rakuen, Japan, ‘A Forest Where Gods Live’ is a digital installation that uses that uses light to turn nature into art.

Highlights from the exhibit included a vast simulated waterfall, and a moss-covered boulder that eternally sprouts flowers which bloom and die before visitors eyes.

  • Inside Australia – Antony Gormley

Renowned artist, Antony Gormley, has created many a masterpiece in his long career. One of the most incredible of these is his ‘Inside Australia’ located at the Western end of Lake Ballard.

The 51 life size human sculptures are positioned 750 meters apart and represent the 131 local residents of the area.

  • Puppy – Jeff Koons

Perhaps best known for his giant balloon animals, Koons has also ventured out into the gardening business. Located outside of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Spain, the 43 ft West Highland Terrier is carpeted in brightly coloured bedding plants.

Inspired by the baroque buildings of Europe, Koons has said that he hoped to inspire optimism in the viewers of this work.

  • Molinere Underwater Sculputre Park – Jason deCaires Taylor

You’ll need to be able to swim to view this work, as deCaries Taylor’s sculptures are located under the sea, just off the coast of Grenada, West Indies.

Made up of 65 sculptures, the installation spans 800 square meters, the park is a popular attraction for scuba divers and snorkelers who visit the area.
