A Cultural First for Ritz Paris: Introducing Les Nuits Étoilées This June

This June, the Ritz Paris will unveil the inaugural edition of Les Nuits Étoilées (Starry Nights). This experience is a three-night open-air festival of opera, ballet and orchestral performance set within its private Grand Jardin. Conceived by artistic director Frédéric Fontan, the festival transforms the hotel’s gardens into an immersive outdoor theatre, designed in homage to César Ritz and the spirit of Versailles.

This festival marks a true first: never before has a grand hotel hosted a music and dance festival at its very heart, bringing together leading artists from the Opéra national de Paris and beyond.

Programming includes:

June 13, La Nuit de Diamant: A tribute to the artistry and heritage of Place Vendôme, featuring works from Gounod, Offenbach, and Chopin, alongside a world premiere choreographed for Étoile Roxane Stojanov.

June 14, La Nuit des Romantiques: An exploration of love through iconic operatic and ballet works including La Traviata and Swan Lake, with a literary homage to Marcel Proust.

June 15, La Nuit Clair de Lune: A closing evening inspired by nature and nocturnal reverie, featuring Saint-Saëns and performances by legendary Étoile Agnès Letestu.

Each ticket includes a welcome with petits fours and Roederer champagne, followed by the open-air performance within the Grand Jardin. Guests depart with a bespoke keepsake created by the Ritz Paris, extending the sense of occasion beyond the evening. Gold category tickets offer a rare, behind-the-scenes access, including a post-performance encounter with the Artistic Director and participating artists.

As Managing Director Arnaud de Saint-Exupéry shares: “The Ritz Paris has always been a place for encounters, inspiration and emotion… This new festival is a natural extension of that spirit.” Les Nuits Étoilées (Starry Nights) offers travelers to experience the Ritz Paris as a living cultural stage.
