A Soothing Safari Escape: The Amani Spa at Sabi Sabi

A Soothing Safari Escape: The Amani Spa at Sabi Sabi
Elegant, serene and in complete harmony with nature, the beautifully designed spas are run by highly skilled therapists offering an array of natural, holistic body, skin and beauty treatments. All treatments have been individually designed by the Amani therapists to target areas of the body that may be particularly weary after a long day in the bush.

To regenerate, hydrate and balance the skin after time spent in the strong African sun, the Amani Spa offers several facial treatments, all utilizing deluxe Babor products. For the body, a combination of the Iketla back, neck and shoulder massage is recommended to reduce tensions. The Amani Foot Ritual Rub, aptly dubbed “Sole Indulgence” includes a foot soak, scrub and massage and is heavenly after a long walking safari.

For continued skin and body care the Amani Spa offers a range of Matsimela Home Spa products – featuring local ingredients like the Marula nut and rich, scented oils from Baobab Tree kernels.

Every month the spas feature a signature treatment and this month it is the Kurhula Body Ritual. Enjoyed singly or as a couple's treatment, the Kurhula Body Ritual is a unique treatment that incorporates techniques from around the world. Starting with the head and scalp and working all the way down to the feet, the sumptuous massage is followed by a revitalizing mini-facial. An exclusive blend of oils is used by the spa to promote the elimination of toxins and effectively reduce fatigue.

Every day spent at Sabi Sabi includes close wildlife encounters in open Land Rovers, luxurious accommodation, delicious cuisine and breath-taking scenery. A visit to the incredible Amani Spa at Bush or Earth Lodge is an excellent add-on that takes the safari experience to the next level.

High season rates at Bush Lodge start at 788 USD* and at 1,128 USD* at Earth Lodge. Rates include open Land Rover safaris by day and at night to see Africa's big game accompanied by highly-qualified trackers and rangers, environmental education walking safaris, breakfast, lunch and ‘boma' dinner as well as a house selection of beverages.
