Today marks the one year anniversary since The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C made their iconic debut in the Maldives with the opening of The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands.
To commemorate 12 months of rituals and creating memories, The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands has curated an itinerary of celebrations to recognize the resort’s anniversary. Guests of the resort are invited to partake in themed events such as a 12-pose yoga circle, 12-minute spa experience and an anniversary dinner party at the resort’s beachfront restaurant.
In the true circular spirit of island life, the resort continues to support eco-conscious initiatives that aim to reduce the resort carbon footprint. In celebration of this 1 year anniversary, guests of the resort can make their own lasting marks by participating a unique coral regeneration program. Guests will join marine biologists trained by Jean-Michel Cousteau for a boat ride to one of the coral nurseries located within the archipelago. Once at the coral nursery, guests will learn about the importance of coral conservation and will have an opportunity to plant coral fragments that have been attached to ceramics, allowing the natural marine life to be preserved and restored.
