The oceanfront fitness facility has been re-inspired to be as visually stunning as it is state-of-the-art.
“We focused on luxurious materials that are also durable,” says Isabel Tragash, principal of STA Architectural Group, one of South Florida’s leading architecture firms, who’s been designing at Acqualina for more than two decades.
Tragash and her design team also prioritized color, which has been a core element of Acqualina’s iconography ever since the resort’s grand opening back in 2006 when it debuted its trademark red umbrellas and vibrant green “Great” lawn directly adjacent to the beach.
“The marble we selected for AcquaFit, for instance, has this playfulness and vibrancy to it that is really special,” adds Tragash. “The color also helps to tie all of the Acqualina Resort & Residences together by bringing in the turquoise sea.”
