AdventureWomen Offers Luxury River Cruise on India's Holy Ganges
Guests stay in a 28-cabin, two-deck luxury riverboat with modern staterooms. The riverboat, which passengers describe as more like being a guest on a yacht rather than a cruise ship, is the first passenger vessel in more than 100 years to cruise between Kolkata (Calcutta) and Varanasi (Benares). This allow travelers to explore the hustle and bustle of India by day but enjoy a quiet retreat aboard the boat each night. There is a 1-2 crew to passenger ratio for maximum service and it offers fine dining for on-board meals.

Guests will visit Mother Teresa's Calcutta, Varanasi (India's holiest city), Bodh Gaya (the most important Buddhist pilgrimage site in the world where in 500 BC Prince Siddhartha achieved enlightenment to become Buddha), and to a river sanctuary for dolphin.
