Altamer’s 13,000 Square-Foot Villa, Blue Diamond, is Fully Renovated and Now Open

New York-based real estate investment, development and asset & property management firm, Time Equities Inc. (TEI), announced that Altamer, the luxury villa collection nestled on Shoal Bay West officially re-opened the Blue Diamond Villa, a 13,000 square-foot, 5.5. bedroom, 7-bathroom villa.

Originally built in 1997 and designed by architect Myron Goldfinger, Altamer’s Blue Diamond villa encompasses modern interiors and 21-foot-high ceilings with floor to ceiling windows. After undergoing extensive renovations, the Blue Diamond now boasts all new finishes and interiors designed by Linda Warren Interiors, including a newly serviced swimming pool, hot tub, Category-5 hurricane resistant windows, glass railings, skylights and fully re-designed bathrooms and renovated kitchens with Smeg appliances and Illy machines.

Designed to mimic a flower-shaped design, the Blue Diamond is an ideal villa for large groups since all three levels have a central area surrounded by smaller rooms in the “petals” or alcoves of the villa. At the heart of it all is a bespoke mosaic designed by Atelier Stellis that sits on a custom-built semicircle bar in the middle of the Great Room on the first floor. Ideal for entertaining, the first floor features an indoor/outdoor open space concept with a guest kitchen, bar and oversized dining room that leads directly to the large pool deck with multiple seating areas and two hammocks nestled on the powdery white beaches of Shoal Bay West. The grounds of Altamer have also been revamped to include some of Anguilla’s native flowers, as well as a garden with herbs, which will be included in signature cocktails during the duration of guests’ stay.

Additional amenities include powder rooms on each floor, a small private office for digital nomads offering complete privacy for Zoom calls, a mediation room outfitted with a portable massage table for massages al fresco on the beach or your private balcony, a fully stocked entertainment room with a custom-made pool table, two card tables, a ping pong table, and of course, a magnificent ocean view. Those staying at Altamer can also enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, bird watching, paddle boarding, scuba diving, private tennis lessons at Altamer’s newly refurbished, state of the art tennis courts and/or sailing lessons, private yoga lessons, wine tasting, a private boat charter and more. Upon requests, travelers can also enjoy a private chef and nanny services.

The Blue Diamond is the largest of the three villas currently open, including the Antilles Pearl and the Petit Topaz. Located on Shoal Bay West, one of the best beaches in the world, Altamer is a popular destination for travelers seeking a comfortable, luxurious, private getaway and is a popular destination for water sports, snorkeling, kayaking, diving, sailing and more.

What’s more? Altamer is committed to sustainability and the pursuing of ongoing fiscally, socially, and environmentally responsible business practices. As such, the team has taken the opportunity to offset all carbon emissions generated from their guests’ travel (to and from the resort) and overall stay at the villas by donating to a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization called The Ocean Foundation and their SeaGrass Grow program.
