Summer 2023 sees the launch of a host of new authentic local experiences at the recently renovated Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel, one of the Irish capital's most contemporary and architecturally impressive buildings overlooking the Waterfront on Grand Canal Square in the heart of Silicon Docks, Dublin City.

The new series of authentic ‘Dublin Like Never Before' experiences has been carefully prepared to showcase Ireland’s sporting, cultural and historical heritage. Experiences include:

  • Spice Spoons: Indulge in a signature Spice Spoons journey with Executive Chef, Gareth Mullins, to the nearby seaside fishing village of Howth via one of the country’s most scenic train routes or by car. On arrival, guests will sail around Dublin Bay on a fishing boat, spotting inquisitive seals and sometimes dolphin. Back at the dock, guests enjoy a stop off at Kish Fish, home to one of Ireland’s most prestigious salmon smokehouses before returning to the hotel to try their hand at baking Irish soda bread from the Chef’s secret recipe. €1150 for two, €75 per person for additions. €150 for the cooking class alone.
  • Wild Swimming: Prepare for a cold but exhilarating experience whilst surrounded by Ireland’s stunning coastal landscapes.   • Docklands Walking Tour: Embark on an enthralling walking tour through Dublin’s captivating Docklands with a renowned ‘seanachai’ (Gaelic for ‘story teller’): Derek Brennan. Derek's mesmerizing narratives lift the veil on the hidden secrets and untold legends of this land. €75 per person.
  • Irish National Stud and Gardens: Witness the majestic power and grace of some of the world’s top stallions at the Irish National Stud, both in their stables or out in their paddocks, while learning about their breeding and pedigrees with the help of a private guide. Go one step further with ‘The Irish Racehorse Experience’ and become the owner, trainer, and jockey in an immersive experience which offers the chance to partake in an interactive, virtual race. €250 per person.
  • Royal Dublin Golf Club: A chauffeur-driven arrival precedes personalized orientation with a professional at Ireland’s second oldest Golf Club, located on Bull Island in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
