The Art of Living Retreat Center, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, situated at a height of 3,700 feet and spread over 380 sprawling acres, has added new enhancements and offerings for guests traveling to the year-round retreat center. This summer and beyond, the retreat center is introducing thoughtfully-curated updates to its already robust wellness offerings, culinary amenities, and transformative programs, as well as upgrades to its accommodations and special World Culture Festival retreat packages. New this year, Art of Living will be offering guests:

  • Transformative Presenter Programs: Guest teachers, leaders, authors and experts inspire guests with their timely wisdom and transformative programming at the retreat center. With over 30 individual presenters,  Art of Living hosts an exciting lineup of immersive programs and workshops helmed by visiting experts throughout the year.   • Sensory Reduction Amenities: Later this year, the retreat center will unveil a newly installed flotation tank to help guests gain a deeper connection with themselves. Sensory reduction eliminates external stimulation and offers an array of benefits including decreased depression and anxiety as well as increased happiness and well-being.
  • New Agrarian Culinary Offerings: Art of Living offers vegetarian meals that cater to intentioned eating through the principles of love, and respect for community, rooted in Ayurveda. Designed by Chef Sean Sigmon, the retreat center has introduced new culinary programming, with a continued focus on an agrarian food philosophy, featuring primarily organic ingredients sourced from local growers.
  • Experience The World Culture Festival with Art of Living: September 29 through October 1, 2023, Art of Living will provide passes to the World Cultural Festival. Located in Washington D.C. the festival brings together different backgrounds to help individuals experience peace and acceptance.
  • Retreat Accommodation Upgrades: The center has also completed a renovation of over 40 hotel and retreat rooms, including 8 newly-furnished hotel apartment units.  Newly-upgraded accommodations include both private hotel rooms and shared retreat rooms, emphasizing inclusivity, in a range of price points.
