Autumn is an especially beautiful time to experience Europe, as summer crowds begin to disappear, temperatures become more comfortable and destinations take on an entirely different character.
This season, Aman is leaning into that slower pace across its European properties with experiences particularly suited to fall: hiking through the golden Dolomites from Aman Rosa Alpina, exploring ancient archaeological sites and contemporary Greek art from Amanzoe, and experiencing a quieter side of Venice through restorative wellness and an intimate new dining experience.
Aman Rosa Alpina | The Dolomites, Italy As the Dolomites transition from summer greens to autumn gold, Aman Rosa Alpina offers a gateway to the UNESCO-listed mountain landscape at a time of favorable temperatures and quieter trails. Drawing on the knowledge of the Pizzinini family, who have been at the helm of the hotel since 1939, the resort creates bespoke hiking and cycling itineraries, sunrise treks and off-the-beaten-path explorations for varying ages and abilities.
A standout experience takes guests on foot through alpine meadows to Prè Ístì, the Pizzinini family’s private mountain cabin. Intentionally without electricity or running water, the rustic refuge offers a true off-the-grid experience, culminating in a barbecue lunch prepared by Aman Rosa Alpina’s culinary team using seasonal Italian ingredients. More adventurous travelers can take on the Dolomites Escape – Via Ferrata, ascending rugged rock faces, while early risers can experience the mountains on a guided sunrise hike through alpine meadows and pine forests as first light reaches the peaks.
Amanzoe | Peloponnese, Greece Perched on its own private Peloponnese peninsula overlooking the Aegean, Amanzoe places guests at the intersection of Greece’s ancient past and contemporary creative culture. Autumn lends itself to exploring nearby UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Mycenae and Epidaurus, with excursions tailored using private guides, drivers or helicopter transfers. Back at the resort, guests can explore another aspect of Greek heritage through traditional pottery and ceramics classes in Amanzoe’s dedicated Ceramic Studio.
For travelers visiting in September, Amanzoe also presents Life Cycles through September 30, 2026, a landmark exhibition created in collaboration with Zoumboulakis Galleries. Contemporary art and sculpture by four leading Greek female artists are installed throughout the resort’s colonnades, gardens and terraces, creating a dialogue between art, architecture and landscape.
Aman Venice | Venice, Italy Autumn brings a softer rhythm to Venice, as its waterways, streets and squares become quieter after summer. Set within a 16th-century palazzo overlooking the Grand Canal, Aman Venice pairs cultural exploration with restorative wellness, providing an elegant base for discovering the city’s museums, architecture and hidden neighborhoods.
Within the intimate Aman Spa, guests can experience Cryotherapy, using targeted cooling to soothe muscles, refresh the skin and encourage physical recovery, or a Music Therapy Relaxing Massage, where live harp, tubular bells or ocean drum performances are synchronized with therapeutic touch.
New for the season is The Palazzo Kitchen Table Experience, an intimate eight-seat dining concept led by Executive Chef Matteo Panfilio. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Omakase, the experience gives a new expression to seasonal Italian ingredients within one of Venice’s most historic settings.
With cooler temperatures, fewer crowds and experiences shaped around each destination's character, Aman offers a different perspective on the European fall, one centered on culture, nature, gastronomy and a more unhurried way of traveling.
