Banyan Tree Mayakoba Launches Revitalizing Wellbeing Sanctuaries

Banyan Tree Mayakoba officially launched their long-awaited wellbeing sanctuaries, and travelers can finally book the transformative experience for stays starting February 1, 2022.

The sanctuaries are designed to be an oasis of wellness for guests to revitalize every organ of their body and renew their mind, at a time when prioritizing mental and physical wellbeing is crucial after a tumultuous few years. In fact, the Global Wellness Institute predicts wellness tourism will start to boom like never before, projecting the industry will grow 20.9 percent annually through 2025.

Banyan Tree’s wellbeing team used a simple and structured approach using evidence, research, and guest feedback to conceptualize and design their wellbeing sanctuaries. Guests embark on a personal journey to find balance, build resilience and gain deeper self-knowledge.

The journey starts with a personalized 64-point assessment based on Banyan Tree’s 8 brand pillars including cultivating the mind, harmony with nature, sustained practices, and bonding and connection. Stays include access to 50 simple yet impactful wellbeing activities like ocean breath meditation by the sea, pre-sleep bath and body rituals and nutritious chef-made meals prepared with locally sourced ingredients.

Guests also take home a tailored wellbeing guide after their stay that includes personalized tips on sleeping better, healthy living, home exercises and other practices catered to their lifestyle to incorporate into their daily lives.
