One&Only Resorts Introduces Exclusive Red Nail Polish

Named One&Only Red, the nail polish will be available at all One&Only resorts (One&Only Le Saint Géran, Mauritius; One&Only Ocean Club, The Bahamas; One&Only Palmilla, Mexico; One&Only Reethi Rah, Maldives; One&Only Royal Mirage, Dubai) and at One&Only Cape Town from May 2009 when the resort opens. It will be stocked in both Bastien Gonzalez Pedi:Mani:Cure studios as well as the resort boutiques. One&Only Red will also be on sale through Bastien's website, www.bastiengonzalez.com, at the cost of 20.50 euros.

Bastien Gonzalez's treatments have been enjoyed by some of the most famous feet and hands in the world. His passion for pedicures began at a young age when he met a podiatrist during physical therapy for a skiing injury. The unique Pedicure de Bastien is based on what he learned from this personal experience and, according to Gonzalez, 'gives you a fresh awareness of your feet.' The treatments have also brought him universal success and fame.

Bastien's concept is unique – focusing on the professional expertise and aesthetic aspects of pedicures. He insists that this fusion of health and beauty is the true definition and philosophy of a pedicure – pedi meaning foot and cure the treatment. There are four elements of the Pedicure de Bastien - improvement of the nail, treatment of the sole, a rejuvenating massage and now the polish at One&Only Resorts – all of which contribute to making the foot healthier, the nails more beautiful and the skin more elastic. During the treatment, Bastien’s therapists use a special diamond dusted drill to soften the skin. The final stage is a strong and rejuvenating massage for the legs and feet, which improves blood circulation and de-stresses the muscles.
