Beverly Hills Hotel Celebrating David Bowie with Exclusive Brunch
One-day only event includes an exhibition of his 1972 photo shoot at the hotel with the iconic rock star and intimate conversation with the music photography luminary

On Sunday, January 22, 2017, the legendary Polo Lounge will welcome Mick Rock for a very special Brunch and exhibition showcasing a selection of original prints from his 1972 photo shoot with David Bowie at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Guests who reserve the VIP Brunch package will be invited to attend an inspired discussion with Mr. Rock about his celebrated rock music imagery and esteemed career capturing images of rock and roll royalty from the golden age of music.

"It was during our first visit to The Beverly Hills Hotel that I photographed David Bowie around the property's grounds and bungalow gardens. We snuck off together to take some pictures of him in a new jacket that had just been flown in from New York for the upcoming 'Jean Genie' video that I was to direct in San Francisco a few days later," says Mr. Rock. "During our entire eight night stay, we felt like we were in movie star land and we were all very impressed with the hotel. So much so that recall David saying 'I need to make this place my permanent home. It's got everything I want.'
