Washington DC is preparing to be in full bloom with the indicator cherry blossom tree already budding at the nation’s capital. The National Cherry Blossom Festival is set to kick off on March 20, 2023 with signature events taking place through April 16, 2023.

The St. Regis Washington, D.C. blooms into D.C.’s most beloved season with the debut the hotels iconic series of signature Cherry Blossom-inspired experiences and activations. Whether you are looking to sip, snack, or stay, The St. Regis Washington, D.C. is the perfect location to experience the luscious fields of pink blossoms that take over the city.

Signature Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea 

Bringing back its unique twist on the renowned afternoon tea ritual, The St. Regis Washington, D.C. will debut its signature Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea this spring. The extraordinary tea presentation features beautifully prepared desserts hanging from the branches of a cherry blossom tree, all surrounded by a selection of mouth-watering savory bites at the tree’s base. Guests who reserve the Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea can choose from a fine selection of luxurious teas from Dammann Frères, including an exclusive custom blended cherry blossom tea, alongside delectable cherry blossom inspired bites and treats. Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea is available Wednesdays through Sundays, March 15 through May 13, from 1pm to 5pm at $89 per person.

One of D.C.’s most iconic cocktail lounges, the St. Regis Bar will debut two specialty cocktails highlighting ingredients inspired by Japan’s cherry blossoms. Sip and savor A Gift From Japan ($26) featuring Japanese yuzu-forward gin with yuzu juice, Peychard’s bitters and Manchino cherry blossom vermouth – the rare spirit is poured from one of only 4,000 bottles made yearly. The First Lady’s Project ($26) reflects the pink hues of the cherry blossom flower with rye whiskey, egg white, Sakura bitters, and D.C.’s exclusive Cerasum Aperitivo – a blend of 3 different varieties of cherries and Sakura blossoms.

Cherry Blossom Celebration Experience 

Available from March 17 to April 17, stay with The St. Regis Washington, D.C. as the blossoms burst into bloom with the Cherry Blossom Celebration Experience. Starting at $739, the package and includes:

The Jefferson DC 

The Jefferson DC is offering guests the opportunity to enjoy the fresh spring breeze and prime views of the blossoms set apart from the masses, via private luxury boat tour.  With its newly launched Blossoms by Boat package, guests will enjoy a two-night stay at the boutique, luxury haven in the heart of Washington DC, a cherry blossom-inspired picnic created by Executive Chef Fabio Salvatore and an hour and half hour private tour courtesy of EmbarkDC. Blossoms by Boat includes all of the Cherry Blossom essentials:
