The flexible new setup allows for both a la carte dining, for up to 180 guests, and buffet service with live action cooking stations. The new design is culturally relevant and blends in with the architectural heritage of the region.
Conceived as a South-Asian seafood barbecue and grille, Pantai will feature the freshest fish and finest seafood, along with prime cuts of meat and an extensive salad bar all displayed centre stage in front of Pantai's theatre kitchen.
Guests will be able to personally choose from the freshly caught seafood selection, being sizzled away on open-fired charcoal grills, while they select their accompaniments in all times favorite Asian style: sambal chili sauce, chutney and wasabi cream to name a few. Western style preparations will also be on offer, such as herb garlic butter, creamy saffron sauce, olive and roasted pepper.
Chef's mouthwatering salads include crispy mix of oak leaves, mignonette, frisee, lolla rosa, lolla biaonda and watercress, grilled artichoke, asparagus, vine ripe tomato, fresh mozzarella, oil cured tomato, imported olives and roasted peppers. A wide choice of homemade dressing will be available, such as Sesame Japanese dressing, shallot honey mustard, Thai basil balsamic, Italian, honey mustard, accompanied by a selection of cheese and Artisan breads.
Essentially a “restaurant within a restaurant”, Pantai will expand upon its offering with the twenty-two seat “Zen” teppanyaki pavilion. There, guests will enjoy an interactive cooking experience with fresh seafood, poultry and beef being prepared right before their eyes on an authentic Japanese style teppan grill.
