Originally constructed as a hunting lodge in 1881 La Escondida Hotel & Restaurant offers dramatic views, smart interiors and superb cuisine prepared by a Michelin-star chef. It's a rich combination of rustic Spanish charm and luxurious living whilst staying faithful to its 17th century architecture. Interiors are rustic in style and all the furniture is hand-made especially for the property, combining stunning fabrics with original wooden beams and stonework. Amongst a huge range of other activities available, there is horse riding available for all levels of abilities, as well as a chef prepared picnic lunch in the national park. La Escondida's Chef proudly prepares delicious food which is beautifully presented using the freshest ingredients including herbs and vegetables which are grown on site. Jams, honey and olive oil are all provided by local producers.
