Carlton Hotel St. Moritz Introduces New Glacier Express Winter Experience

It combines two of the best hotels in Switzerland with a panoramic train journey on the legendary Glacier Express from St. Moritz to Zermatt. The 7.5 hour journey passes through Europe's most spectacular alpine scenery, across 291 bridges and through 91 tunnels, and is considered one of the most famous train rides in the world. For much of its journey, it passes along and through the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the Rhaetian Railway in the Albula/Bernina Landscapes.

With the new “Glacier Express” experience, guests of the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz spend two nights in St. Moritz before traveling first-class on the Glacier Express to Zermatt where they will spend another two nights in the luxurious Hotel Mont Cervin Palace. Starting at CHF 2,763 per person in a suite or junior suite, the experience includes two nights with breakfast in each partnering hotel as well as the train journey from St. Moritz to Zermatt. On the Glacier Express, guests will be whisked away in first-class, while being treated to a delicious three-course meal in the on-board restaurant. At the Hotel Mont Cervin Palace, guests will enjoy a “dine-around” evening meal while at the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz guests will receive a CHF 100 hotel credit per person per day that can be spent on food and drinks in the two hotel restaurants.
