Carlton Hotel St. Moritz Launches Exclusive Helicopter Experience

Carlton Hotel St. Moritz Launches Exclusive Helicopter Experience

Beginning this December, guests at the Carlton Hotel St. Moritz can take flight with the property’s new Helicopter Experience. The 45-minute exclusive trip sends travelers soaring over the Alps, where they get a magnificent birds-eye view of the snow-covered mountains and valleys. The breathtaking flight also features a stop on the top of the Hüfifirn Glacier for a coffee, cappuccino or tea - whatever they fancy! - amidst the Alpine winter wonderland.

Following the trip, guests can enjoy a drink at the Carlton Bar and Sun Terrace and relax with a treatment at the 12,917 square foot Carlton Spa before sitting down for a delicious dinner at Michelin-starred restaurant Da Vittorio.

The Carlton’s new Helicopter Experience leaves from Samedan, Europe’s highest airport. During the flight, guests will soar over Piz Palü, Piz Badile, the Maljoa Pass and the highest mountain of the Eastern Alps, Piz Bernina, before making their stop on the glacier. Pricing begins at $2,900 per suite.

The Carlton Hotel St. Moritz is an all suite hotel featuring 60 lake-facing suites and the 4,155 square foot Carlton Penthouse that includes 360-degree views, five terraces and a private elevator, Michelin-starred restaurant Da Vittorio, and the 12,917 square foot Carlton Spa. Situated in St. Moritz, one of the most well known ski resorts in the world, the Carlton Hotel is a classic example of the destination’s renowned elegance and exclusivity.

During their stay at the hotel, guests can enjoy traditional winter sports or take advantage of a variety of unique experiences, including: snow kiting over the frozen Lake Silvaplana, bob sleighing along the professional ice track in St. Moritz, taking a sleigh ride through the Val Roseg valley, and booking the hotel’s very own Outdoor Butler - a truly tailored experience that provides guests with their own private butler to take them exploring around town for the day.
