Celebrate a Classic Christmas in London at The Dorchester

The Dorchester invites guests to experience the magic of a classic Christmas in London, launching festivities on November 20th, 2021, as the hotel reveals its highly anticipated festive décor.

Arriving to The Dorchester, guests will watch as a flurry of twinkly snowflakes appear on the hotel façade and, once through the famous revolving doors, they will see The Dorchester’s legendary Christmas tree standing proudly in the lobby next to a giant clock counting down to Christmas Eve.

Guests will once again be able to pen a letter to Father Christmas on bespoke stationery before having it stamped with special postage at the front desk and posting it in a traditional red post box to be magically whisked away to Father Christmas’ sorting office.

New for 2021, The Dorchester will introduce a hidden festive cinema snug showing all the much loved classic films to be enjoyed with movie snacks, comfy sofas and hot chocolate.

Afternoon tea at The Promenade has been a part of Christmas at The Dorchester since 1931 and is always an occasion to remember, with festive-inspired menus and live music surrounded by Spruce trees. On weekends throughout the season, The Dorchester will also welcome a talented school choir, who perform traditional carols as guests enjoy festive pastries and warm scones.
