Celebrate Carnival Like a True Venetian at Luna Hotel Baglioni
From February 15 - March 4, Luna Hotel Baglioni will be offering it's guests private fittings and custom designs of traditional styled Carnival Venetian costumes by Atelier Flavia, one of the most notable designers of Venetian ‘mascareri' costumes since 1980. A personal seamstress and member of the Atelier Flavia design team meets guests in the comfort of the Luna Hotel Baglioni to custom fit pieces, from handmade paper-mache masks to traditional Venetian masquerade gowns reflecting the 16th, 18th and 19th centuries.

During the Carnival of Venice, Luna Hotel Baglioni will be hosting three special events; the Moon Masquerade on February 22, the Grand Baglioni Party on February 28 and the Gran Carnivale Party on March 1. Each evening will begin in the hotel's Fireplace Room with Venetian Canapes served with traditional Bellini and Rossini cocktails. The event will then move into the Marco Polo Ballroom, outfitted with the original frescoes of the XVIII Century of the School of Tiepolo, where guests will enjoy the Masters of Dance performing the Minuetto Dance, a parade of Venetian Carnival Costumes and traditional Masks, Carnival artists creating Carnival sketches and a special Carnival Dinner with the traditional Venetian delicacies: Frittelle and Galani. The concluding event, the Gran Carnival Party, will also feature a “Dance & Opera Show,” where guests can enjoy Opera and participate for themselves.
