Celebrate Diwali: The Festival of Lights at Perrine at The Pierre NY, A Taj Hotel

The annual Indian celebration of Diwali: The Festival of Lights will be hosted November 10th, 2023 from 5:30-9:00 PM by Perrine at The Pierre NY, A Taj Hotel 2 East 61st Street. Delight in exquisite Indian cuisine meticulously crafted by Executive Chef, Michael Mignano and Chef Abhinav Sharma. A traditional lighting ceremony will take place at 6:15 pm.

Guests will be transported to a magical setting as Perrine's Rosé Terrace is illuminated by lanterns, decorated oil lamps and twinkling lights. They will experience the welcome ceremony of Arti and Tikka. The sounds of contemporary Indian-inspired music will add to the festivities throughout the evening.  Diwali at Perrine has become a sought-after event and one of the leading Diwali celebrations in New York City where guests arrive in native sarees and lehengas to dance the night away.  The Pierre has a long legacy of serving authentic Indian cuisine as far back as the 1940’s when The Pierre Grill brought the flavors and spices of Indian Cuisine to New York.

The Diwali menu will bring together traditional and contemporary dishes served family style Prepare to indulge in a “Khau Gali Feast” with live action chef’s preparing Kathi Roll, Fushka ,Pav Bhaji all made to order. Don’t forget the classics too, Dal Makhni, Vegetable Biryani Masala, sweet corn dhokla, Miniature Vegetable Samosas and Murgh Makhni aka Chicken Tikka Masala while savoring inspired preparations including Kale Pakoras, Chili Garlic Naans and Chicken Tikka Samosas. Back by popular demand -- the Mithai Wall, a wall of Indian sweets and Indian- inspired desserts decorated with Diwali lights.
