The much-anticipated opening of Chablé Maroma, sister property of Chablé Resort, is slated for September 10, 2018 in Riviera Maya. Already a member of Leading Hotels of the World, the new resort is set between a lush topical jungle and white sand beach, offering a seamless blend between luxury and nature.
The five-star beach resort will feature 70 luxurious casitas dotted throughout the jungle evoking an intimate feel. Each casita is designed to immerse guests in nature, paying homage to the local Mayan heritage. Standout details such as retractable glass walls, an indoor-outdoor rain shower, private pool and outdoor terrace provide a luxurious ambiance, while interiors boast a neutral color palette showcasing regional materials including tropical woods, stones, marble and original designs by Mexican artisans.
One of the highlights of Chablé Maroma will be its expansive 17,000 square-foot spa, featuring eight massage rooms, a hot tub and steam bath. The spa’s treatment program also honors Mayan traditions of restoration, integrating cultural wellness wisdom with modern technology. The menu will encompass an abundant selection of signature facials, messages and rituals, focusing on the guest’s journey towards purification, balance and transformation.
A notable culinary program led by highly-acclaimed Mexican Chef Jorge Vallejo will consist of three unique restaurants. Bu’ul, the resort’s signature dining venue, will showcase gourmet and contemporary Mexican cuisine, Raw Bar by Bu’ul will offer a selection of clams, oysters, prawns and more, while Kaban, a casual pool-side eatery, will serve a selection of Mexican and international bites. The project will mark the Chef’s third venture, following the opening of top-ranked Quintonil in Mexico City and award-winning Ixi’im Restaurant at Chablé Resort.
Chablé Maroma’s finishing touches include a 650-foot private beach, oceanside yoga pavilion, seaside swimming pool, fitness center and a string of private cabanas sprinkled along the shore. Guests will enjoy a variety of activities at leisure including meditation classes, yoga, paddle boarding, kayaking, scuba diving, cultural adventures, jungle tours and more. Rates begin at $650 based on double occupancy.
