Chablé Hotels to Debut New Casa Chablé in Tulum’s Sian Ka’an Biosphere

Chablé Hotels to Debut New Casa Chablé in Tulum’s Sian Ka’an Biosphere

Boutique Villa Scheduled to Open November 2022 with 10 Rooms and Beachfront Bungalows

Chablé Hotels, Mexico’s leading luxury hospitality and wellness brand, will expand its portfolio with the addition of Casa Chablé set to open November 1, 2022. Located 22 miles south of Tulum in the Sian Ka’an biosphere, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Casa Chablé will offer true barefoot luxury, ultimate seclusion, and immersion in nature on an untouched stretch of Quintana Roo’s Caribbean coast.

With remoteness central to its charm, Casa Chablé is surrounded by 12 acres of tropical jungle and fronted by white sand beaches. The property’s location allows guests to experience both a sunrise over the Caribbean Sea and a sunset champagne toast from the Casa Chablé dock overlooking the shimmering Sian Ka’an lagoon in the same day.

The adventure begins at the entrance to the biosphere, where guests will experience a scenic drive or be whisked away by private boat for a 40-minute ride through lush mangrove forests before reaching the resort’s private dock. There, guests will enter the world of Casa Chablé, a pristine islet featuring 10 rooms and standalone bungalows. The main villa houses five elegantly appointed Casa Principal guest rooms, while the white sand beach is dotted with three bungalows with ocean views, one a master beachfront bungalow, and one premium beachfront bungalow with a private garden. The Casa Principal rooms feature private balconies while the five bungalows showcase indoor and outdoor moon showers and terraces to provide an intimate experience and immersion in nature.

Chablé Hotels once again collaborated with award-winning interior designer Paulina Moran for a full remodel of the property with the vision of maintaining a strong relationship between nature, comfort, and luxury. Casa Chablé is elegantly appointed with beautiful, sustainable tropical Parota wood furnishings and indigenous design inspirations crafted by local artisans. Each accommodation features elegant amenities in balance with the breathtaking landscapes and shared spaces outside, all of which help to inspire Casa Chablé’s restorative spirit of sustainability.

The property also includes a lobby bar, thatched-roof gourmet restaurant, swimming pool off the main house, an oceanfront wellness cabana, gym, a rooftop lounge and bar with a plunge pool, and a private beach dotted with canopy daybeds and hammocks gently billowing in the tropical breeze.

Tantamount with its sister properties Chablé Yucatan and Chablé Maroma, Casa Chablé’s culinary program is designed by the renowned Jorge Vallejo, chef and owner of Quintonil in Mexico City, currently ranked #9 in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.  Under his leadership, Executive Chef Luis Quiroz will prepare cuisine crafted to order showcasing local regional dishes tailored to guest preferences and made with locally caught fish and produce from the property’s organic gardens.

Casa Chablé is just the beginning. Named by its ancient Maya inhabitants, Sian Ka’an translates to “gate to heaven” and was inspired by the area’s natural beauty. The biosphere is one of Mexico’s largest protected areas, home to lush green forests, pristine wetlands and lagoons, extensive mangrove stands, ancient ruins, cenotes, forested islets, sandy beaches, as well as the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. The reserve is teeming with captivating wildlife, including dolphins, turtles, migratory birds, colorful fish species and more. Guests can explore the surrounding biosphere with kayaks and small boats, while paddle boards and snorkeling gear are available for ocean exploration. Set out on private adventures, canoe through mangroves, fly-fish in tranquil lagoons, and discover the ancient ruins of MUYIL and crystalline waters of the Laguna Kaan Luum.

Casa Chablé honors the Chablé Hotels commitment to coexist with nature and protect delicate ecosystems. The property is 100% powered by renewable solar and wind energy, along with eco-sensitive filtration of water drawn from the on-site well using reverse osmosis and biodigester technology to process and repurpose grey water back into the land for irrigation. Casa Chablé will also be part of Chablé Hotels’ partnership with the Mexican organization Comunal to support the brand’s environmental conservation, sustainability developments and social responsibility.

The property will be open year-round starting November 1, 2022. Rates begin at $789 per night, based on double occupancy, with full property buyouts available starting from $9,418 for up to 22 people. Seasonal rates will apply. https://chablehotels.com/casa-chable/
