Chatham Bars Inn and Lexus launch the “Lexus Ultimate Beach Drive Experience,” a new luxurious off-road beach excursion that provides guest access to Cape Cod’s most beautiful beaches in the comfort of a Lexus GX460. As the only resort on Cape Cod to secure the necessary permits, Chatham Bars Inn and Lexus provide beach adventurers and luxury car fanatics alike the opportunity to drive onto and explore some of Cape Cod’s most iconic beaches.
The Lexus Ultimate Beach Drive Experience is available seasonally with two distinct offerings – the half-day Coastal Encounter Beach Package and the full-day Sunseeker Beach Package. To begin each experience, one guest in the party will drive the specially-outfitted Lexus GX460 while a second support vehicle with staff will follow, accompanying the group to ensure the perfectly supported beach day. During both over-sand-vehicle (OSV) off-roading experiences, guests will stop along the way to take in the views and sea air and enjoy a luxury beach day experience. With the support team there to set up the “beach camp” with ample shade, beach chairs, blankets and towels, beach games and surfcasting, the guests will be able to relax and enjoy all activities as well as a picnic basket lunch created by the resort’s award-winning culinary team and a selection of refreshing beverages. Additional add-ons offered will include a private beach clambake or a beach campfire pit experience, both available dependent on local restrictions and guidelines.

As many as seven guests can reserve the half-day Coastal Encounter Beach Package with the chance to take in the beauty of a memorable beach day with spectacular views, excellent bass and blues fishing, surfing and sunbathing. The full-day Sunseeker Beach Package drives a sense of adventure with a full-day excursion for up to seven guests to soak up the sun, enjoy all the fun activities offered and capture the essence of Cape Cod.

The Ultimate Beach Drive Experience packages range from US $1,200 to US $3,000 plus tax and gratuity, dependent upon destination and season.
