BEYOND THE PISTES
Winter at COMO Alpina Dolomites extends far beyond downhill skiing. Guided snowshoe adventures, cross-country trails, winter hiking and bespoke excursions invite guests to experience the quieter side of the Dolomites.
Curated by the resort's Outdoor Concierge team and local mountain experts, these experiences offer opportunities for couples, families and multigenerational travelers to connect with the landscape at their own pace, whether through active exploration or leisurely discovery.
A program of weekly guided outings and experiences reveals hidden viewpoints, local traditions and the remarkable biodiversity of Europe's largest high-altitude alpine meadow.
A NEW CULINARY PARTNERSHIP WITH DENIS LOVATEL
New for the season, COMO Alpina Dolomites welcomes acclaimed Italian pizza chef Denis Lovatel to Chalet Grill & Bar. Best known for pioneering Pizza di Montagna, Lovatel has earned a reputation for interpreting the flavors and traditions of Italy's mountain regions through an innovative approach to pizza making. Using carefully selected flours, Dolomite spring water, locally foraged herbs and a slow 56-hour fermentation process, his pizzas are celebrated for their exceptional lightness, character and depth of flavor.
Developed exclusively for COMO Alpina Dolomites, the new menu honors the culinary heritage of the Dolomites, showcasing Lovatel's signature creations alongside recipes inspired by local producers and seasonal ingredients. Highlights include the Marghe COMO Edition, created especially for the resort, featuring fiordilatte mozzarella, Grana Padano, basil sauce, rustic tomato sauce and oregano. A celebration of simplicity and craftsmanship, the pizza captures Lovatel's deep connection to the region while offering guests a distinctive taste of the mountains. The collaboration brings a fresh dimension to the resort's dining scene, complementing the contemporary cuisine of Sassolungo and the regional specialties of Trattoria Dell'Alpe.
WELLNESS IN THE DOLOMITES
At the heart of the resort, COMO Shambhala provides a restorative counterpoint to days spent outdoors.
From January 2027, former professional rugby league player Anthony Mullally returns for a two-week wellness residency focused on breathwork, performance and resilience. Drawing on his experience as an elite athlete and wellbeing practitioner, Mullally will guide guests through techniques designed to support recovery, focus and mental clarity.
Alongside specialist programs, guests have access to a comprehensive wellness offering including indoor and outdoor pools, Finnish and herbal saunas, steam rooms, Kneipp therapy, yoga facilities, Technogym-equipped fitness spaces and holistic treatments.
