COMO The Halkin is launching its weekend Brunch. Available every Saturday and Sunday from 11.00am to 4.00pm, the new offering brings together the refined simplicity and unhurried hospitality for which the hotel has long been celebrated, now extending its welcome into the weekend morning.
The setting is The Halkin Bar: a space of calm proportions and the kind of quiet elegance that invites guests to linger. With 41 rooms and suites, COMO The Halkin has always offered a more intimate experience than many of its peers, a hotel that feels, in the words of its own guests, more like a private home than a public institution. The brunch carries that same spirit to the table.
The menu has been designed in the spirit of COMO Hotels and Resorts’ broader culinary philosophy: seasonal, sustainably sourced, and built on close relationships with small-scale farmers and fishermen across the United Kingdom.
Guests begin with lighter starters: a seasonal fruit salad dressed with yuzu, a chia pudding with coconut, rhubarb and berries, or an açaí bowl that reflects COMO Shambhala’s long-standing commitment to nourishing, ingredient-led cooking. From there, the menu moves through a selection of eggs and classics, Eggs Benedict on a homemade English muffin, Lobster Benedict for those who wish to indulge a little further, shakshuka with whipped feta, or truffle scrambled eggs on brioche, before arriving at a set of signature dishes that speak to the breadth of the kitchen’s ambitions: a double Wagyu beef smash burger stacked with Spanish ham, cheese and a hash brown; buttermilk fried chicken and waffle with maple syrup; steak and eggs with chimichurri. The meal ends sweetly with brioche French toast or buttermilk pancakes with Chantilly cream.
To drink, the bar turns to the wider COMO Shambhala repertoire: cold-pressed juices formulated for their nutritional properties, the Blood Builder with carrot, beetroot, turmeric and ginger; the Lean and Clean Greens with apple, celery, fennel and spinach, alongside freshly brewed coffee, an extensive Jing Tea selection, and a line of signature brunch cocktails that include the Halkin Mimosa, a Yuzu Bellini and the house Bloody Mary.
For those wishing to mark the occasion more ceremonially, free-flowing Crémant is available for two hours from the time of ordering.
Brunch is offered at two price points: the Brunch Experience at £45 per person with one dish from each of the starter, eggs and classics, and sweet courses, and the Signature Brunch Experience at £55 per person, which opens up the signature dish selection. The free-flowing Crémant option is available as an addition at £25 per person. Walk-ins are welcome.
