Complimentary Pilates Week at Montpelier Plantation & Beach

From Friday, July 1, through Friday, July 8, Vanessa Pearce, lead instructor and owner of London Pilates Studio, will offer guests complimentary Pilates sessions at the resort. Pearce has worked in London for the last fourteen years teaching fitness at all levels, working with clients with high-end specific sports training and those with rehabilitation needs, in conjunction with medical specialists. First drawn to Pilates through personal experience, Pearce became a devotee of STOTT PILATES®, a modern, anatomically based interpretation of traditional Pilates. Following four years of intensive study, she is a certified STOTT PILATES instructor.

Throughout the week and twice a day, 50-minute classes will be taught at all levels – from beginners to expert and held at Montpelier’s yoga studio overlooking Mount Nevis.



Tennis Pro Wendy Tauscheck Returning to Montpelier Plantation & Beach

Friday, October 28, through Wednesday, November 2; Schedule to be announced

In 2015, USPTA certified tennis Level 2 instructor Wendy Tauscheck helped guests develop their tennis skills and techniques, as she aided them in feeling comfortable and more confident on the court. Tauscheck coached high school tennis Level I for 15 years in Kohler, Wisc. and chosen Coach of the Year twice by the Wisconsin High School Coaches Tennis Association. Additionally, she captained USTA adult league tennis, 4.0 ladies and advanced to state and sectional championships. Her husband, John, an avid 4.0-4.5 level player, will assist with drills and lessons during Montpelier instructional sessions.
