Conrad Bali Recognized As Indonesia's Leading Resort For Third Time

Beginning from December 1, 2012, guests can experience 'Rituals, Rice Fields and Rites of Passage', a day trip that allow guests to connect to the best of Bali's amazing history and heritage, with a visit to the steep green terraces and timeless temples of Ubud, the island's spiritual heart.

Early in 2013, more 'Connect with Bali, Reconnect with Yourself' experiences will be unveiled, including a chance to get up close and personal with one of Ubud's most famous painters, a trek up Mount Batur to savour the sunrise over Bali's famed volcanos, a sojourn to the rarely visited west coast of Bali to experience dramatic scenery, ancient traditions and the art of planting rice, and an 'Artisans Tour' that introduces some of the islands' most gifted artists and craftsmen, whose batik, celadon, wood and silver work is rightly world renowned.

"The reinvented and reborn Jiwa Spa has now put Conrad Bali back in the vanguard of spa, creating Bali's 17-room rejuvenation destination, headed by the resort's new Australian spa and wellness specialist, Melanie James. Her appointment signifies a dynamic shift for Jiwa Spa at Conrad Bali, as it looks to reposition itself as a leading wellness destination spa. With a strong focus on product development, Melanie will be creating a holistic spa and wellness concept for Jiwa Spa through a combination of innovative spa journeys and personalized wellness programs, as well as pioneering an exciting new vision in men's spa experiences with Vitaman," added Mr Kling.

"We also have the very exclusive and unique Conrad Suites wing of the resort, connecting guests to a world of personalized privilege and pampering. Conrad Suites represent the pinnacle of delivering distinctive and highly personalized service to all guests, such as the recent introduction of a selection of three distinct luxury bath amenity brands. Guests can now choose between the contemporary Chinese chic luxury Shanghai Tang and Tara Smith products and from January 2013, our signature Aromatherapy Associates will also be available."
