Conrad Bora Bora Nui, the award-winning luxury resort ideally located in a private cove on Motu To’opua, a small islet off the coast of Bora Bora, is now the first resort in French Polynesia to offer guests the use of a floating helipad for arrival and departure beginning in early 2022.
The floating helipad, located on a remote bay near the resort, is available for use by all Conrad Bora Bora Nui resort guests arriving at the hotel via private helicopter or local operator. Guests will be transported on the resort’s shuttle boat to access the floating helipad, which is a 12x12 meter aluminum deck assembled with stainless steel bolts. Four HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) tubes enable the structure to float.
In addition to the convenience and added experience the helipad provides for resort guests; it will also be utilized as a departure location for private air tours. In partnership with Air Tahiti Helicopter, the following private helicopter tours will be available exclusively for resort guests:
