AFRICA

Cox & Kings expands its already robust offerings throughout Africa, with twelve new journeys two of which focus on solely on Botswana. “Botswana: An Exclusive Wildlife Adventure,” is perfect for families or small groups, and covers the country's best game viewing locations from Victoria Falls and into the north including the Okavango Delta. The 6-night safari includes luxury private tented-camps for an authentic and exclusive experience. While the 10-day “Botswana in Summer” offers rich wildlife viewing as the lush grasslands attract Southern Africa's largest remaining migration.

Zimbabwe offers both an excellent value and fantastic wildlife viewing. The “Zimbabwe Rediscovered” itinerary includes the Mana Pools along the mighty Zambezi River and into Hwange National Park with its vast herds of buffalo, elephant and sable antelope. Watching black rhinos and the unique, semi-aquatic elephants is also possible with a visit to Matusandona National Park.

Traditionally known just for gorilla trekking, “Uganda: The Pearl of Africa” highlights much more of the country's stunningly beautiful landscape. Travelers can follow gregarious chimpanzees in the Kibale Forest and view the world's largest hippo concentration in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The new “Lost Pyramids of Northern Sudan” itinerary explores the little-known country that bridges the African and Arabic cultures. Along the Nile River, guests visit friendly Nubian villages and discover ancient untouched pyramids, of which the country has more than in all of Egypt.
