“Break the Rules, Break the Storm”
Producer and actor Neb Chupin brings a personal connection to Storm Rider: Legend of Hammerhead. Known for working alongside actors such as John Malkovich, Martin Lawrence, and John Travolta, Chupin now steps forward as both producer and supporting actor in the film’s nationwide theatrical release.
Chupin’s story began on a small island off the Croatian coast, where family traditions and a strong connection to heritage shaped his early life. After graduating from college in Boston, he founded Dalmatia Fig Spread, introducing American consumers to a delicacy inspired by his grandfather’s coastal traditions.
The idea for Storm Rider began more than a decade ago with a simple story about a boy and his grandfather living on a fig island. Over time, the project evolved into the sweeping adventure now coming to theaters, while keeping its core themes of family, legacy, and the spirit of island life.
Today, that deeply personal inspiration has grown into a cinematic adventure filmed across some of Croatia’s most spectacular locations, inviting audiences not only to watch the story, but to experience the landscapes that inspired it.
