Delano Las Vegas Debuts this September

Anchored by intimate yet energetic public spaces and sophisticated accommodations, the all-suite boutique hotel will appeal to the most discerning travelers from around the globe. Delano Las Vegas will come to life in the space formerly occupied by THEhotel following a dramatic transformation.

Across its design, food & beverage and wellness offerings, Delano Las Vegas will embrace the natural elements of its desert surroundings while infusing the signature Delano brand with eclectic details to create an atmosphere that is playful and filled with energy.

A GLIMPSE INTO DELANO



• Design. Drawing on its desert inspiration, Delano Las Vegas will feature an expansive stone entry anchored by an extraordinary 180,000-pound divided boulder from the Nevada desert. Off in the distance, a striking art installation comprised of small rocks suspended from the ceiling by renowned Korean artist, Jaehyo Lee, will draw guests further into the space. Staying true to the original Delano location, elements of water, beaches and airy, fresh details weave themselves through the desert motifs, creating a mysterious and engaging aura.

• Food & Beverage. Situated just off the main lobby, Delano Las Vegas will offer three unique dining experiences. A historic farmhouse meets an urban kitchen vibe with Della's Kitchen, which will offer a desert sustainable menu that toes the line between healthy and decadent. The restaurant will procure ingredients from as close to home as possible, including Delano's Greenhouse that will supply herbs and vegetables for the seasonally changing menu. Franklin, an eclectic lounge with a sophisticated vibe, will feature nightly entertainment and serve craft cocktails complemented by small plates. Guests also can stop by 3940 Coffee + Tea, which will serve specialty beverages, with gourmet coffee and tea sourced from Grand Avenue, and afternoon tea service, including petite pastries and finger sandwiches. In 2015, celebrated chef Alain Ducasse will debut Rivea restaurant and a new nightlife lounge experience in the space that is currently miX Las Vegas. The restaurant, located on the 64th floor, will serve French and Italian cuisine inspired by the many years Ducasse spent visiting the delectable food markets of Italy and Provence. The lounge adjacent to Rivea also will take on a new personality.

• Wellness. With Delano's opening, the contemporary and tranquil BATHHOUSE Spa will debut an entirely new treatment menu with local and global inspiration. In keeping with Delano's philosophy of adapting to its surroundings, the new menu infuses the soothing elements of locally sourced ingredients including cacti and desert wildflowers, as well as other playful nods to the desert. Immune boosting Milk and Honey treatments feature edible raw desert bee pollen from the Mohave region, creating an instant synergy with the desert locale. Guests also will be transported beyond the desert with an exquisite new line of Global Journeys, a series of treatments reflecting traditional rituals from regions where Morgans Hotel Group has properties, including India, Asia, Europe and a “Taste from the Islands.”

• Guest Suites. Upstairs and away from the action, the hotel's 1,100 guest suites will provide a luxurious retreat. The suites will incorporate Delano's iconic window sheers, crisp white linens and oversized tufted headboards. Photography of seductive underwater scenes will adorn the walls, while floor-to-ceiling windows provide sweeping views of the Las Vegas skyline. Boasting one of the highest standard room square footages of any hotel in the city (725 square feet), each one-bedroom suite will feature a private bedroom, bold lighting fixtures and a spacious spa-style bath. With a 46” flat-screen TV, wet bar, desk and its own powder room, the adjoining living room will offer a plush retreat that doubles as an entertaining area or impromptu meeting space.

• Delano Beach Club. In 2015, Delano Las Vegas will introduce a private beach club just steps from the sand and surf of Mandalay Bay Beach and wave pool. The beach club will offer guests of the hotel a dedicated, exclusive pool environment, embracing the laid-back South Beach lifestyle.
