Delta Air Lines Sponsors New York’s Iconic Signature Theatre
With this sponsorship, Delta will provide vital travel resources to the theatre and continue its commitment to supporting New York's most renowned arts and entertainment entities.

“As New York's largest airline, Delta is thrilled to announce this partnership with Signature Theatre – a leader in the New York theatre community,” said Gail Grimmett, Delta's senior vice president – New York. “We consider ourselves a part of the New York community and are constantly working to strengthen our commitment to New York City and our customers who call it home by supporting organizations and causes that are important to New Yorkers.”

Delta will support the work of Signature Theatre's roster of noted Playwrights-in-Residence by providing flights for the company to send its artists to attend readings, workshops, rehearsals, and productions. In May 2013, Delta will fly Signature's creative team, cast, and crew of David Henry Hwang's The Dance and the Railroad to perform in China at the Wuzhen Theater Festival, marking the first time that Residency One writer David Henry Hwang's work will be performed in mainland China.
