Discover Morocco with Naya Traveler's first-ever founder-led trip, June 3-13

Naya Traveler creates journeys that transcend mass tourism, bringing back purpose and depth to travel through authentic cultural experiences. With highly personalized and curated itineraries, Naya Traveler announces its first founder-led trip set for June 3rd – 13th, 2019 with sign-ups starting on the company’s website in early February.

For the very first time, travelers can discover Morocco through the eyes of one of Naya Traveler’s founders, Sarah Casewit, who grew up in this incredible country and called it home for over 20 years. Follow her footsteps as she takes travelers on a personal journey through her favorite destinations and shares her most cherished experiences. The small group of 12 will experience the medieval city of Fez, a night in the Sahara Desert, a special stay at a secluded oasis in Ouarzazate, and some time to enjoy the Red City of Marrakesh with an escape to Ourika and the Atlas Mountains. During the 10-day journey, guests will stay at private accommodations and unique properties in each destination, meet with locals and personal friends of Sarah Casewit, and connect with Morocco on a spiritual level through various immersive experiences designed for this intimate trip.

With its strategic location in North Africa, Morocco stretches across fertile valleys, snowcapped mountains, two extensive coastlines and an immense desert. Every region harbors a distinct local culture, tied to a distant past that shapes Morocco’s distinguished personality of the Muslim World. Over thousands of years, Berber tribes, Roman legions, Arab conquests, and European colonists have contributed to the formation of its heritage and have left their mark on its history and cities. Today, the kingdom is the oldest reigning monarchy in the world. Its people’s fervent practice of age-old tradition and faith has allowed Morocco to retain its unique character, grounded with a deeply spiritual attitude, which is consistently present in the very substance of the country’s arts and customs. Morocco’s Western edge that sets it apart from other North African countries stems from decades of French occupation.

Rates for the 10-day journey start at $5850USD per person in double occupancy for 12 people. Pricing includes all accommodations, domestic airfare, transportation, host and expert guides, daily private activities, some meals, and services of a professional team monitoring the trip 24/7. International airfare is not included. For more information, please contact via email at info@nayatraveler.com or call 1-301-358-5096.

Naya Traveler will offer two additional founder-led trips in 2020 with co-founders Marta Tucci leading a small group to  Spain and Sofia Mascotena leading one to Argentina, their respective home countries. These journeys offer an intimate homecoming experience for travelers, providing the opportunity to go beyond the tourist route and discover a country from the hand of the local founders.
