East Coast Defender Unleashes Beast

East Coast Defender Unleashes Beast
The company, owned and operated by three Brits with petrol in their blood and passion in their hearts, was borne out of their desire to be the best Defender builders on the planet. The quality required to be exceptional necessitates complete control of every facet: from engines to upholstery to paint, it's all done in-house, in East Coast Defender's 11,000 square foot Florida facility. Their latest build is Beast, which recently earned the People's Choice Award from Florida's Festivals of Speed event.

Beast Design- Anatomy of Excellence:

Chevrolet LS3 Performance Engine:

Collaborating with Stingray Chevrolet, Beast's Chevrolet LS3 Performance engine has been tuned to perfection, and tops 60 MPH in 7 seconds easily. To handle the power of the LS3, Beast is fitted with Ashcroft drive shafts and axles with limited slip differentials. To ensure Beast is capable of reaching its max speed while also being able to stop effectively, and most importantly safely, ECD upgraded the braking system to an 8 Pot front braking and 6 Pot rear braking with an upgraded all Terrafirma Suspension.

Inside Beast

Hand-Stitched Leather Interior:

Beast's interior, the most premium from ECD thus far, has a series of technological and hand-stitched features. These features include a premium 8 speaker JBL entertainment package, sound deadening, hand-stitched leather Corbeau front racing seats, PUMA dashboard, and 60/40 PUMA middle seats with the MOMO sports steering wheel upgrade.

The Push Button Shifter:

An electronically controlled shifter, replacing the traditional lever shifter, offering split-second shifting capability with the push of a button. The push button shifter allows for mounting virtually anywhere, giving it a modern and clean look.
