Providing the best of both worlds, The Residence at Eben House will redefine luxury vacation rentals in Provincetown by combining an amenity-laden historic home with the luxurious amenities and services of the renowned Eben House.
Nestled adjacent to the Inn, The Residence is a 2,700-square foot 18th Century home featuring four en-suite king bedrooms, a large eat-in kitchen, living room, dining room and home office. The house also features a brick courtyard furnished for outdoor entertaining and two parking spaces. Inside, the property evokes a vintage Cape Cod cottage feel with a modern mix of antiques and unique furnishings.
Daily breakfast will arrive via hamper to the kitchen door, stocked with piping hot coffee or tea and rustic house-made savory and sweet treats straight from the Eben House kitchen. A midweek housekeeping service is included and guests can also add extra services to their stay, such as stocking the house with their favorite foods and drinks prior to arrival, hiring a private chef, or having a gourmet picnic lunch packed for the beach. All of these services are available at additional cost from a menu of options, which also include other luxuries like daily housekeeping and laundry service.
"Since opening Eben House, we've had numerous requests where guests are looking for a space that a group of friends can have completely to themselves," said David Bowd, CEO of Salt Hotels. "The Residence is perfect - it not only offers the desired exclusivity of a traditional house rental but raises it to another level by offering all the amenities of a hotel."
Also debuting summer 2017 is the new salt water pool at Eben House. A luxurious new pool deck and pool provides both guests of the Inn and The Residence the perfect location to relax during the lazy days of summer without ever having to leave the property. The new heated pool located off the breakfast room is surrounded by a new bluestone patio furnished with plush seating groups and also provides a picturesque new al fresco option during breakfast service. The pool will open May 1, 2017.
When Salt Hotels' opened Eben House in May 2015, it brought yet another level of style and luxury to Provincetown and continues to redefine the concept of a traditional bed and breakfast with a fresh, contemporary "no rules" approach. Originally built in 1776 as the home of the highly successful seafarer, Captain Eben Snow, each of the inn's fourteen rooms and suites will be completely renovated and individually designed to celebrate the building's rich history.
One of only three surviving brick Federal period residences in Provincetown, Eben House's design is a modern twist on the home's traditional 18th century style. The interiors will be filled with plush furnishings and lush amenities, including custom pillow-top mattresses swathed in luxury linens, flat screen televisions, mini-fridges, and new bathrooms with rain showerheads and natural bath products from C.O. Bigelow and LA-based Further brand.
The Residence at Eben House is available for weekly rentals (Saturday to Saturday) in peak season with rates from $7000.00 per week, and available for shorter stays all other times of the year with rates from $700.00 per night.
