Overseen by owners David and Jane Matthews, Eden Rock – St Barths is collaborating with architecture and interior design studio Martin Brudnizki to redesign Sand Bar, Villa Nina and Villa Rockstar.

Sand Bar, the hotel’s main restaurant, bar and lounge will reflect a colonial vibe with laidback beach styling. Clean lines will complement pops of pattern and color blocking for an elegant finish. Ultraluxe Villa Nina will be remodeled entirely, adopting a tropical-inspired aesthetic with bold artwork and contrasting materials, including patterned linen, statement onyx and a coral and green color palette. Three additional cottages will be redesigned, drawing inspiration from the surrounding beach landscape with natural wood and featuring curated book collections and works of art.

Perched on a rocky promontory and surrounded by white sandy beaches in St Jean Bay, Eden Rock – St Barths has been known for stylish hospitality since the 1950s. Following Hurricane Irma last year, St Barts has received immense support from locals and loyal guests. The island recovered quickly with the reopening of the harbor and many restaurants. Eden Rock – St Barths General Manager Fabrice Moizan comments: “It was important for us to keep the unique spirit and vibe that has always been part of Eden Rock – St Barths. The internationally-acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio understands our DNA, and the redesigned spaces will reflect both our soul and the new Eden Rock.”
