The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Puerto Rico announces the launch of an eFoil Academy. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, the comprehensive program is designed to help guests master the rapidly growing water sport, ensuring they make the most of their time on the water.
For those unfamiliar, an eFoil is an electric-propelled surfboard that allows riders to gracefully soar above the water's surface, completely independent of wind or waves. The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort serves as an ideal location for aspiring eFoilers. The resort's tranquil lake provides the perfect environment for beginners to master the fundamentals, free from the additional challenges posed by ocean winds and waves. The lake is also an excellent place for more experienced riders to hone their skills and techniques before venturing into the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
The eFoil Academy at The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort offers a tiered approach with three levels of courses tailored to accommodate students of all levels – beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Each course ensures personalized instruction to help students achieve their goals on the water. Additionally, the resort also offers custom classes tailored to the specific needs of each student. As part of the program, students will have access to the resort's cutting-edge facilities, which feature the renowned Lift eFoils originating from Isabella, Puerto Rico. Upon completion of the program, students will receive a certification of completion, equipped with the confidence to tackle any eFoil challenge that comes their way.
Located on a former coconut plantation and situated between the El Yunque National Forest and Espíritu Santo River State Preserve, the property is set on 483 acres. The resort’s 139 guest rooms and suites boast private terraces and stunning ocean and garden room views. The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort’s features also include private bird sanctuaries; an on-site “green team” led by a marine biologist; multiple dining outlets to suit any occasion or taste; St. Regis’ legendary Butler Service; an ocean-front golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.; and an Iridium Spa. Guests of the resort can simply relax by the pool or sunbathe on the beach, while more active travelers can choose from activities such as kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, wind surfing, fishing, nature walks, hiking, biking, tennis and much more.
eFoil classes start at $250.00 per hour. The resort is also offering a custom eFoil hotel package, which includes accommodations, daily breakfast for two, and the eFoil Academy for $599 per night.
