London’s Tallest Christmas Tree and the City’s Largest Wreath
Once again, Londoners can look forward to more than just the city’s tallest Christmas tree, a magnificent 67-foot spectacle adorned with over 100,000 twinkling LED lights and 130 snowflakes ranging from 1 to 1.6 metres. Turning up the festive cheer, the tree will feature curated musical light shows designed to illuminate London’s busiest commute times, mornings at 8:00, 9:00, and 10:00am; midday at 12:00, 12:30, and 1:00pm; and evenings from 5:00 to 7:00pm. During each performance, all 130 snowflakes will dance in harmony with joyful seasonal music, transforming the space into a sparkling winter wonderland in collaboration with the Eastern City Business Improvement District.
Adding to the spectacle, visitors will be treated to what may be London’s, if not the world’s, largest festive wreath, spanning 10 metres across the hotel’s plaza façade. The design is inspired by a wreath created in Japan in 2019; measuring is 6.51 m (21 ft 4 in).
